Community Giving Foundation: Berwick recognizes that our nonprofit partners throughout the Berwick service area have been resilient when faced with adversities over the past two years. The Healthy Workplace Grant program was designed in 2020 to encourage happier, healthier teams within nonprofit organizations. The Foundation has enjoyed receiving your feedback and hearing some of your great healthy workplace ideas and is excited to offer this grant program again this year. Grants can be used to purchase supplies/equipment, programming, professional development, and more to boost the mental and physical health of your team. The goal of the application process is to encourage creative methods for increasing health and positivity in your office.
How to Apply for a Grant
Complete a short grant application through the Foundation’s grant website here. The application requires the following information:
- Organization Name
- Number of Employees
- Service Area
- Healthy Workplace Proposal: in 100 words or less, explain how you would use a one-time grant to promote the overall health of your office staff. Creativity is encouraged!
- Budget for Funding Request
The application deadline is Friday, October 29, 11:59pm online. Grant awards will be announced in November.
All 501(c)(3) nonprofit and government organizations are eligible to apply, regardless of whether they have a current or pending grant with the Foundation. Participation will not impact eligibility for other Foundation grants. Grants will be awarded in amounts ranging from $500 – $1,500.
