The generosity and vision of our Fund Advisors make the work of Community Giving Foundation possible. We take pride in delivering excellent customer service and are excited to provide access to fund data, links, forms, and more through our Advisor Portal system.

Please Note: Logging into the Foundation's Advisor Portal indicates that you have read and agree to the Community Giving Foundation's Confidentiality of Donor Information guidelines and will maintain donor confidentiality to protect and respect donor rights.

Confidentiality of Donor Information
The Community Giving Foundation maintains and manages much information that must be kept confidential. This includes information about donors and their donations made to Foundation funds. Except as required by law, the Foundation will not disclose information about a donor or a donor's gift to the general public. However, unless otherwise requested by the donor, the Foundation may publicize the names of individual donors in the Foundation's Annual Report gift listings and other reported listings. Donor names and addresses will be provided to Foundation fund advisors for the purpose of extending appreciation. Amounts will not be given to fund advisors unless otherwise approved by the Foundation for event and fundraising efforts. Donors are given the opportunity to remain anonymous and their information will be kept confidential. Any donor information provided to fund advisors is for informational purposes only and must not be shared.

Advisor Portal Overview

The Foundation's Advisor Portal allows Fund Advisors to interact with and view fund data via a secure, password-protected website—making it easier than ever to connect with the Foundation, make informed decisions about your charitable giving, and stay up-to-date with your funds. Much of our communication with Fund Advisors has been moved online through this Portal to enhance efficiency and keep all important information in a central location.

When setting up your Portal account, the Foundation will send you an email with your username and temporary password. Follow the prompts to update your password once you log in for the first time.

Profile
When you log in, a profile page will open showing your contact information. Use the gold "edit information" button to make changes. You can update your password and enable 2-step verification under "security" in the lefthand menu.

Fund Advisor Portal
Once logged in, click on "Fund Advisor Portal" at the top of the page to see a list of funds you manage. Use the "select" button to see information about a particular fund. Depending on the fund type and permissions, you may see the following sections/data:

This page has several tab options.

The "grant summary" tab includes a comprehensive list of grants/scholarships awarded from the fund and includes the number of grants and dollar amounts an organization has received in total over the fund's history.
The "grant history" tab includes a table that can be sorted by column (date, grantee, amount, etc.), and also includes filter and export options.
The "recurring grants" tab includes multi-payment grants and may have no data listed for your fund.

This page shows past requests and the status of grants distributed from your fund. To request a grant distribution, click on the gold "create grant request" button. You will have the option to select a previous grantee from the drop-down menu or manually enter a new nonprofit. Foundation staff will receive notifciation of your request and let you know when the grant has been processed. The "fund statements" tab provides an archived view of your fund's latest statements, produced by the Foundation twice a year (February and August). Click "view" to review a statement PDF, which can also be saved to your computer or printed.

The "files & resources" tab can be sorted by date, file name, or description. For other Foundation resouces, including the Annual Report, Giving Workbook, and archived Dashboards, visit csgiving.org.

If you are locked out of your account or do not have your password, click "forgot password" on the login page. If you have not yet received a username and password for the Portal or have any questions about accessing your account, please email Katie Simpson at [email protected].
