Community Giving Foundation: Selinsgrove is pleased to announce information regarding a second 2021 competitive grant round. A first round of grants was awarded earlier this year. Grant opportunities are funded from the Selinsgrove Unrestricted Fund, Richard and Anna Mary Wetzel Unrestricted Fund, Gloria Faylor Karchner Charitable Fund, Irwin Lentz Fund, and Patricia H. and Richard E. Garman Fund. The process begins now and will continue into July 2021.
The Foundation is dedicated to the enrichment of the quality of life in Selinsgrove and surrounding communities through superior stewardship of enduring charitable gifts. Charitable organizations that invest in community programs and projects are encouraged to apply for grant awards up to $1,000. Approximately $12,000 is available in this grant round.
A portion of the available funding is designated to support programs and projects of all charitable purposes that specifically serve residents of the Selinsgrove area. Only 501(c)(3) nonprofit and governmental organizations are eligible to apply and 100% of requested funding from the above noted funds must be invested within the Selinsgrove and surrounding areas.
