The Danville Area Community Foundation (DACF), an affiliate of the Central Susquehanna Community Foundation, is pleased to announce the creation of The Brady and Trump Family Commemorative Fund. Established by Jim and Bonnie Trump, the unrestricted endowed fund will provide grants – reviewed throughout the year by the DACF Board of Directors – to support unmet and unexpected needs in the Danville community.
After hearing a Danville fundholder speak about her family’s fund at a Foundation event, Bonnie Trump was touched by the giving spirit she witnessed. Ten generations of the Brady and Trump families have called the Danville area home, and Bonnie credits the community and its people for providing boundless opportunities to grow and thrive. “Our hope is that we leave a legacy of appreciation and gratitude to the Danville community for all that it has given our families,” Bonnie explains. “We want the fruits of this fund to benefit present and future Danville causes.”
“As I approach the end of my real estate career in a community I love so much, I wanted to say thank you in a significant way. Through the Foundation’s efforts, I have come to realize that the greatness of a community is most accurately measured by the compassionate actions of its members. Jim and I are proud to belong to the Danville community, and we hope to honor both our families and our hometown with respectful and giving hearts.”
As a member of the DACF Board, Bonnie sees the good work that is done in the community through the Foundation’s many funds, and the difference these grants can make for organizations and the individuals and families they serve.
