The annual Neighbors Helping Neighbors Event will be held on Saturday, May 3, 2025. We hope you can join us for this fun evening as we bring together Danville neighbors to celebrate community growth and the difference we can make together. Proceeds from the event benefit the Community Giving Foundation: Danville's Neighbors Helping Neighbors Fund, which has awarded over $150,000 to support local nonprofit organizations providing vital services and programs in the greater Danville area. 2025 "Neighbor of the Year" Award
The "Neighbor of the Year" Award in memory of Robert N. Pursel honors outstanding neighbors (individuals, families, or businesses) that exemplify a generous spirit of community service in the greater Danville area. Over its history, 40 neighbors have been honored and celebrated for their dedication to our community's growth and vitality.
