The Women’s Giving Circle of the Community Giving Foundation empowers, connects, and inspires women and girls by supporting initiatives and resources that better their lives. Charitable organizations investing in programs and projects benefiting women and girls throughout the Foundation’s regional service area are invited to apply through the Women’s Giving Circle 2026 competitive grant round.
Two (2) $10,000 grants will be awarded through this competitive grant round, which opens June 22nd and closes August 3rd. Requests should be for one program/project with a $10,000 total request. Grant applications will be reviewed by the Women’s Giving Circle steering committee in August, where four finalists will be selected to present their requests live in front of Women’s Giving Circle donors at their “Champagne Brunch” Annual Meeting on Friday, October 9th from 10am-12pm. During this unique celebration of collective impact, donors will hear directly from the finalists and cast their vote to decide final grant awards live at the event.
Only 501(c)(3) nonprofit and government organizations serving women and girls are eligible to apply, and 100% of requested funding must be invested within the Foundation’s service area of Columbia, Lower-Luzerne, Montour, Northumberland, Snyder, and Union Counties. Individuals are not eligible to apply. If you are unsure of your organization’s eligibility, please contact Karri Harter, Foundation grant and scholarship administrator, at [email protected] or 570-752-3930 ext. 6.
