Community Giving Foundation: Bloomsburg is proud to announce its 2026 scholarship recipients, awarding $8,500 in scholarships to 6 local students pursuing a wide range of educational and career paths. These opportunities are made possible through the generosity of individuals, families, and organizations who have established scholarship funds to invest in the next generation of community leaders. Students from Bloomsburg, Central Columbia, and surrounding school districts were eligible to apply for awards recognizing a variety of interests, achievements, and future goals.
To celebrate the accomplishments of this year’s recipients, the Foundation welcomed 250 guests to its third annual scholarship event on May 27th at The Barn at Frosty Valley. The celebration brought together students, families, board members, and the donors who make these awards possible. Guests heard remarks from Kara Seesholtz and Amber Hughes, who reflected on the lasting impact of philanthropy and the importance of investing in local students. The Foundation is honored to celebrate and support students as they pursue their goals and contribute to the future of our communities.
