Community Giving Foundation: Danville is honored to build and manage a permanent endowment in the greater Danville community, ensuring that resources are available to meet local needs both today and for generations to come. These flexible community resources are stewarded by Foundation staff and a Danville board of local leaders charged with connecting needs and funding opportunities that maximize grant impact. The Foundation is pleased to announce grant awards totaling $90,500 to nonprofits and government agencies through Danville’s 2026 competitive process. These awards were supported by the following community endowment funds: Jack and Helen Wanich Fund, May Family Fund, Metzer Family Fund, Neighbors Helping Neighbors Fund, Schmidt Family Charitable Fund, Terry & Sandy O’Rourke Family Fund, and The Brady and Trump Family Commemorative Fund.
