Danville Welcomes New Board Members

January 20, 2026

Community Giving Foundation: Danville is pleased to welcome four new board members in 2026.

Lexi Cole

Lexi Cole is a native to Danville. She is a graduate of Danville High School and earned a bachelor’s degree from Susquehanna University and an MBA from Penn State. Cole is currently a Learning Partner at MetLife, where she supports enterprise learning solutions for all employees. She lives in Danville and enjoys baking, hiking, and time with family and friends.

“I’m excited to partner with the Foundation as a board member because I believe in the power of bringing people together to make a difference. Community giving is about building a sense of belonging and shared purpose—a reminder that even the smallest actions can create a positive ripple throughout our neighborhoods and beyond. Joining the board will give me a chance to work alongside others who care about our community and help support projects and initiatives that matter to us all.”

Tom Hiravi

Tom Hiravi is an active community member residing in Danville with his wife and daughters. Outside of his work as Danville Middle School principal, he led the Danville School Community Park Project to raise more than $350,000 to rehabilitate and enhance several acres in Danville to become a park usable by both the middle school and greater Danville community. Hiravi’s background includes a BS in Education from Indiana University of Pennsylvania, where he majored in music education, and an M.Ed. in Education Leadership from George Mason University. Hiravi left the Washington D.C. area in 2017 to move to small-town Danville and has not looked back. He enjoys being outdoors, playing music, and reading good books.

“Community is a place where people lift each other up, celebrate shared commitments and achievements, and support one another. I believe in giving to my community because we are greater than the sum of our parts. The Foundation is a powerful vehicle to lift communities, help people, and create a more beautiful world.”

Harriett Perez

Harriett Perez is a retired registered nurse. She grew up in Philadelphia and was reluctant to move to such a small town with her husband and three children in 1996. Now thirty years later, she loves living in the Danville community and can’t imagine being anywhere else. Perez was an active volunteer in the Danville schools and with her kids’ sports and scouting activities. After completing the Penn State Master Gardener program, she served as volunteer master gardener coordinator for the Montour County office and has continued to maintain the River Front Park landscape for many years with community help.

“When my kids were younger, I did a lot of volunteering in schools and community, and I got burned out. Now that I have taken a break, I feel rejuvenated and I’m excited to work with others who share my desire to help our community through the Foundation’s work.”

Bonnie Trump

Bonnie Trump is an associate real estate broker with Villager Realty. She is a fourth generation Danville native—the eldest of eight children in a “Brady Bunch” and a mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. Trump is a former Foundation board member and board chair, and is excited to engage further with learning about and meeting local needs.

“I am excited to rejoin the Foundation board because I’ve seen the growth and impact it has had in our community and region. Working with truly giving people elevates me to always strive to be better and leave a legacy of kindness, helping to build a fund base that will carry on long past our tenure.”
