Community Giving Foundation: Bloomsburg recently welcomed two new members to its Board of Directors.
Adam Bowman
Adam Bowman is the Chief Financial Officer at Bloomsburg Carpet. He graduated from Central Columbia High School and Lehigh University. He obtained his CPA and worked for PricewaterhouseCoopers in Philadelphia for eight years. After Adam and his wife, Colleen, had their first child, they moved back to Bloomsburg where they are now raising three wonderful children. In addition to the Foundation board, Adam serves on the Central Columbia School Board.
“I feel we are all stakeholders in the community and I believe giving plays an important part in bringing us together. The more people that give, the more empathy and understanding occurs in our community. I have always admired the good that occurs through the Foundation and the role it plays in facilitating giving and bringing our community together. I am excited to become an advocate to help educate others about the Foundation.”
Stephanie Severn
Stephanie Severn is the owner of Steph’s Subs in Bloomsburg. She was born at the Bloomsburg Hospital and graduated from Bloomsburg High School. She loves the community in which she lives and has never felt the need to live anywhere else. She currently serves on the Bloomsburg University Athletic Advisory Council, Geisinger Bloomsburg Hospital Patient Advocate Council, and the Columbia-Montour Visitor’s Bureau Board.
“Giving back to the community has always been a priority of mine. I am excited to join the board and to learn and take part in the procedure of making people’s lives better in the Bloomsburg community.”

Bloomsburg is an affiliate of the Community Giving Foundation, which manages over 325 charitable funds and makes grant investments throughout the region to improve the quality of life in the Central Susquehanna area.
