Sunbury Awards 2026 Grants

Community Giving Foundation: Sunbury is honored to build and manage a permanent endowment in the greater Sunbury community, ensuring that resources are available to meet local needs both today and for generations to come. These flexible community resources are stewarded by Foundation staff and a Sunbury board of local leaders charged with connecting needs and funding opportunities that maximize grant impact. The Foundation is pleased to announce grant awards totaling $217,800 to nonprofits and government agencies through Sunbury’s 2026 competitive process. These awards were supported by the following community endowment funds: Bill and Ann Roll Fund, Clyde H. Jacobs Fund, Gladys C. Dagle Fund, Gloria Faylor Karchner Healthcare Fund, Martz’s Game Farm Fund, Mary E. and J. Guy Lesher Fund, Preston Geist and Kathryn S. Geist Fund, Sunbury Area Health Fund, Sunbury Charitable Purposes Fund, and Sunbury Discretionary Fund.
