February 29, 2024

Community Giving Foundation: Selinsgrove recently welcomed one new member to its Board of Directors.

Richard (Rick) Lybarger

Lybarger is a Senior Vice President and Certified Financial Planner with The Sound Shore Wealth Management Group at Morgan Stanley. A graduate of Selinsgrove High School and Shippensburg University, he has spent his career in the Susquehanna Valley advising businesses and individuals on financial planning. Lybarger is dedicated to ongoing learning and education, embodying the principle that knowledge is the key to delivering the best possible financial guidance. He has dedicated the past 27 years to helping his clients with retirement planning, college planning, asset allocation, cash flow management, and family wealth transfers. Lybarger is an active member in his community – he serves as a board member for the Susquehanna Valley Estate Planning Council, mentors business students at Susquehanna University, and provides coaching in stress reduction, breath, meditation, and energy healing. In his free time, he enjoys hiking, skiing, and paddleboarding. He is a proud father of three children.

It is an honor being selected to the Community Giving Foundation: Selinsgrove board. Growing up in the Susquehanna Valley I have seen many positive changes, and the Foundation has been very influential over the past 25 years in helping our community grow and prosper. I am excited to help continue this growth and create new opportunities for those in need in our beautiful and proud community.
