Community Giving Foundation and its regional affiliates in Berwick, Bloomsburg, Danville, Selinsgrove, and Sunbury recognize that nonprofit organizations continue to play a vital role in the well-being of our community. The Healthy Workplace Grant program was designed to encourage happy, healthy teams within nonprofit organizations. Grants can be used to purchase supplies/equipment, programming, professional development, etc. to boost the mental and physical health of your team. The goal of the application process is to encourage creative methods for increasing health and positivity in your office.
How to Apply for a Grant for Your Workplace
Complete a short grant application through the Foundation’s grant website. Visit csgiving.org/grants and clock on “Grant Site Login”. The application requires the following information:
- Organization Name
- Number of Employees
- Service Area
- Healthy Workplace Proposal: In 100 words or less, explain how you would use a one-time grant to promote the overall health of your office staff. Creativity is encouraged!
- Budget for Funding Request
Grants will be awarded in amounts ranging from $200 – $1,000. The application deadline is 11:59 pm on August 18, 2022, online. Grant awards will be announced at the end of September.
All 501(c)(3) nonprofit and government organizations are eligible to apply, regardless of whether they have a current or pending grant with the Foundation. The service area for this grant round is Columbia, Lower-Luzerne, Montour, Northumberland, Snyder, and Union Counties. Participation will not impact eligibility for other Foundation grants.
