Berwick Highlights Giving Stories

May 25, 2022

The Community Giving Foundation: Berwick held its annual event on May 24th to share stories of community giving and impact. The luncheon, held at the Berwick Golf Club, was an inspiring time of togetherness to celebrate the partnerships and dedication that make this philanthropic spirit thrive in the Berwick area.

During the event, Berwick board member Marc Nespoli spoke about the feeling of community in the Berwick area and the impact of the 45+ Berwick funds created by donors who continue to invest in its well-being and future. A list of Berwick funds and 2022 grant recipients were included in this year’s event handout. Foundation President/CEO Holly Morrison recognized the dedicated individuals that make up the Berwick board (both past and present) and shared about the Community Giving Foundation’s renewed commitment to stewardship and relationship-building. Nick Norce told the story of his family’s history in the Berwick area and the ways his father’s and grandfather’s legacies live on through the Dr. Ralph J. and RJ Norce Strive Scholarship Fund.

What’s your community giving story? What legacy of philanthropy do you want to leave in your community? Guests were prompted to consider these questions as everyone was given an opportunity to share their own giving story at their tables. Through special giving cards and the many resources compiled in the Foundation’s Giving Workbook, discovering your passions and philanthropic goals has never been easier. Learn more here.

The Foundation was inspired and uplifted by the stories and conversations that were shared. It is only through the unity of each donor, board member, nonprofit organization, and community partner that we can continue to make a difference—For Good. For Ever.
