Community Giving Foundation is honored to announce the creation of the Saramae Radel Memorial Scholarship Fund, established to honor the life, leadership, and compassion of Saramae, whose bright spirit and dedication to others left a lasting impact on her community.

A proud collegiate field hockey player, community volunteer, and rising leader at Fulton Bank, Saramae was known for her warmth, inclusivity, and passion for learning. She built meaningful connections wherever she went—whether in the classroom, on the field, or in the workplace—and was deeply committed to personal and professional growth. Most recently, she was a Management Trainee at Fulton Bank, where she quickly distinguished herself as a future leader.

The scholarship fund was created to carry forward the values Saramae lived every day: investing in people, creating opportunity, and encouraging growth. “Saramae naturally built community wherever she went by leading with kindness, inclusivity, and a genuine interest in others,” said Jess Gehringer, Saramae’s manager at Fulton Bank.

“
Saramae believed in working hard, learning continuously, and changing lives for the better. This scholarship honors the way she lived by extending opportunities, encouraging growth, and ensuring her positive influence continues long after her time with us.
