Job Title: Impact Coordinator
Reports to: President and CEO
Position Type: Full-time, exempt
Salary: $42,000-44,000 based on experience, plus benefits

The Community Giving Foundation is accepting applications immediately for a full-time Impact Coordinator. The Impact Coordinator is a new position created to advance grant outcomes and community-centric foundation strategies. This role collaborates with Foundation staff and community partners to ensure grantmaking and Foundation resources are utilized to create the greatest community impact. The Impact Coordinator is responsible for stewarding relationships with nonprofits, conducting site visits, leading grant impact measures and evaluations, analyzing community data and needs, and communicating results to Foundation partners. Building and maintaining the Foundation’s grant catalog is also a key responsibility. In addition, the position will manage nonprofit capacity building programs and gather information and media for communication objectives.
Major Duties & Responsibilities
Grant Outcomes and Nonprofit Programs
- Prepare and review grant evaluations and reports with Grant and Scholarship Administrator to ensure compliance with grant expectations and grant contracts.
- Collect grant outcome data and metrics to evaluate project impact.
- Steward relationships with nonprofit community.
- Monitor and summarize community needs assessments to identify needs and gaps.
- Organize nonprofit capacity building programs and trainings.
- Coordinate site visits and in-person grant evaluation meetings.
- Evaluate program reporting techniques for effectiveness and efficiency.
- Serve as an additional contact for grant applicants.
- Establish and maintain relationships with stakeholders, community members, and nonprofits while representing the Foundation.
- Participate in community-based coalition meetings.
- Perform quantitative and qualitative data analysis.
Technology and Software
- Build and maintain grant catalog using the Foundation’s software (Foundant).
- Collect media collateral (photography, videography, etc.) from nonprofit grantees.
- Remain knowledgeable of updates and new software opportunities to enhance Foundation processes.
Collaboration and Best Practices
- Serve effectively as a member of the Foundation’s Impact Team, advising and supporting other staff members and board.
- Collaborate with the Director of Communications to provide information for Foundation marketing and publicity related to grants and community impact.
- Prepare grant evaluation and impact data for staff.
- Serve as a liaison to fundholders and committees as needed for events.
- Increase effectiveness in grant analysis and evaluation by participating in activities to develop skills and knowledge, including seminars, conferences, and independent study.
- Stay abreast of emerging trends and best-practices in demonstrating grant impact, philanthropy, community foundation programs, administration and leadership.
- Undertake special projects as requested by the President & CEO.

- CEO, Director of Philanthropy, Director of Communications, and Grant and Scholarship Administrator.
- Nonprofit organization staff and other strategic partners in the local communities.
- Civic leaders representing communities and beneficiaries of the Foundation, and other key Foundation stakeholders.

Education & Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in communications, nonprofit management, or a similar field. Equivalent experience working in nonprofit, philanthropic, or relevant field will also be considered. Knowledge of regional nonprofit community foundations, nonprofit grant reporting and philanthropy preferred.
Hours & Benefits
- The Foundation office is located at 725 West Front Street, Berwick.
- The nature of this position allows for flexibility to regularly work between 7am-5pm. Travel, events, board meetings, meetings with committees and organizations, often occur outside of the these hours.
- Option to work 9/10 days with every other Friday off.
- WFH option available 20 hours per two-week pay period. WFH guidelines provided for exempt employees.
- Ability to travel with personal vehicle within the Foundation’s 5 1/2 county footprint is required.
